Whew! Long weekend!

Scott and I did our last wedding of the season on Saturday with Erin and Anthony!  We had lots of fun with the girls - Tessa, Eva (sp?), and Jordan.  Tessa and Eva were Jr. Bridesmaids and Jordan was the Flower Girl.  They had so much energy!  Really wore down the adults!

Now to crunch images and catch up!  Of course we never really slow down...  Sunday I did a portrait session with Julia for her One Year portraits!  Scott did a family portrait for the Smith/Dobles clan at Hamlin Beach and then another family portrait with the Purushotham family!  This week is a Senior Portrait for Josh Briggs on Tuesday, some corporate work for Bergmann Associates, and lots of editing.  Then we can start concentratiing on marketing and websites and other stuff.

We'll be going down to NYC for Photoplus Expo on the 23rd and hopefully meeting up with Dan Milnor and other photographers we know for some much needed face time rather than Facebook time.

Yesterday's session with Julia turned into a family portrait session also as Ann's siblings were visiting from Minnesota and Ohio.  We found a great location under a couple of hugh yellow maple trees by the Mount Morris Dam with everyone wearing jeans and white shirts.  Looked really cool!  The leopard lighting (shade with spots of straight sunlight coming through the trees makes you look like you have big white spots) was a bit difficult from time to time but we dealt with that by making small adjustment to positioning.  All in all a great time and some great images!  Here's a couple of them...

Keep in touch and, if you are on Facebook, join our group - Slattery & Crist Photography!  We'll be putting out some portrait session specials soon for Fall/Christmas portraits so watch for them!
