Veena and Gopal

Well, back from vacation and right back into it! Scott and I had the pleasure of photographing Veena and Gopal's final wedding reception at Steamboat Landing on Canandaigua Lake Saturday night. What a wonderful party! The variation of color and texture that comes with traditional Indian dress is phenomenal for a photographer!

We arrived with plenty of time beforehand to make some images of Veena and Gopal and their family. All in all it was a great situation for us - terrific models, great location, and perfect light! Veena and Gopal are both very relaxed and easy to work with, of course, after three engagement parties and two wedding receptions they were well prepared!

We also ran into people we already knew - Pooja Rao and her parents were there (we are photographing Pooja's wedding next year), and Venkat and Shoba Purushotham (we did their daughter Shanti's senior portriats last year).
