Some More Smores...

Today turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise! We spent the morning lounging around, reading, playing cards, etc. Then we drove a bit and went for a short one hour hike near Fish Pond! It turns out that Hunter is so sweet that the mosquitoes swarm to her! Every time we stopped it seemed that she was doing the dance - trying to keep from getting stung. So we kept moving and got back to the car!

A short trip in to Saranac Lake to get more milk - the girls drink it like crazy! Back home to shower, play some more cards and read. Then cooking burgers on the grill and corn on the cob for dinner - yum!

They have had so much rain here that the firewood outside is really damp. It took a lot of lighter fluid to get the fire going enough to get it dried out! Then more smores. I think I am smored out now!

Tomorrow looks like it might be a washout with more rain and thunderstorms forecasted. Might just read all day! Home on Saturday in time to do Veena and Gopal's wedding reception at Steamboat Landing!
