Wedding Show and The Oscars

Scott and I had a great time at the wedding show at the Clarion Riverside Hotel this last weekend! We met a lot of great people and we are looking forward to hearing back from many of them. Thanks very much to Christy, Ellen, Jeanne, Bob, and Cheryl from Clarion for helping us to have such a great show.

After days of preparation we were both ready for a little down time - Scott went home to rest and I went to an Oscar party with my gorgeous wife, Anne, and my daughter, Shannon. Had a great time razzing the stars! My Gorgeous Wife!

Now Scott and I get ready to go down to Santa Fe, NM for the Santa Fe Workshops! We will be there for a one week photography seminar and then a few days traipsing around northeast New Mexico shooting lots of images. Look for more updates and images to come!

Brittney's Poster

Here's a poster that we offer when we are making team and individual portraits for sports teams. Brittney is a terrific swimmer with great strokes that her parents are proud of and she's worked hard to get there. This 11x14 poster is evidence of it!

Each poster that we create is new and different - no canned templates here! We incorporate images that show the athlete's personality and friends as well as their skills - down the road this will be a keepsake that to be treasured!

Check out the SEAS swim team on their website at www.seasswimteam.org!

Cornerstone Eye Associates

Scott and I ventured out to Cornerstone Eye Associates late this afternoon to complete a set of images. My sister, Kristina (pictured below), is the Practice Manager there! The session had been planned for some time but I came down with Strep Throat yesterday and Scott's wife got a flat tire at the last minute so we weren't sure if it would happen! Fortunately, I got my meds and Scott changed Pam's tire and we both arrived right on time! The shoot went quickly and we made some great images of their clinical team along with some individual shots. Thanks to everyone for being such great sports! Visit Cornerstone Eye Associates to get all your vision needs taken care of! I do!

More of Julia!

Here's some more images from Julia's baby portraits session! She's such a doll! It always amazes me to look at all the images after a baby session - they have so many different expressions! Make's you wonder what they are really thinking...

Follies-33

A Nice Note From Jeff Miller

Here's a great note we received from Jeff Miller, a performing vocalist at the 2008 Christmas Follies at the Auditorium Theater along with Amy Walts (www.harpchick.com), Kelly Petro, and the organist and organizer, Tim Schramm. We created a number of different images of Jeff and others that you can see on our website, twoscottsphotography.com

"The pictures are truly excellent, Scott. I want to thank you for being so gracious. I'm deeply impressed at what you accomplished in such short time, and on the fly, and I'm very enthusiastic about seeing an idea I had so vividly realized, on film the way Slattery & Crist Photography so effortlessly did it. Imagine the images we could come up with in a planned location shoot! I fully intend to buy the entire collection of proofs and use a few on my website.

I am also in the process of developing a personal website with my brother, a professional web designer, and several of your photos are ideal. I also see at least half a dozen that would be viable for an album cover."

Regards, Jeff

HAST Team Portraits

Hi! Scott and I spent the last two nights creating individual and team portraits for the Hilton Area Swim Team. Hot and sticky in the pool area but the images were worth it! The D3 performed wonderfully with each lens used - focus was quick and precise and the noise levels are non-existent!

Here is an image of Amelia taken at ISO320, f2.8, and 1/250th of a second shutter speed. Just awesome!

Thanks very much to Katie Dorschel and Denise LaJuett for all their help with organizing our time at the pool! Thanks also to Coach Snow, Coach Snow, and Coach Nolin for letting us interrupt their practice time!
